The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 18th November, 2012

Candidates can apply on-line for CTET-November, 2012 on CBSE/CTET website www.cbse.nic.in, www.ctet.nic.in

Examination Pattern: The CTET examination will be of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ's)

There will be no negative marking

There will be 2 papers of CTET

Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V

Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII

A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II)

Movie Review :Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathaara Censor Report - Talk

Bala Krishna and Manchu Manoj's multi-starrer project Uu Kodathara
Ulikki Padathara is all set for a grand release on July 27. Today film
makers has submitted it's first copy to regional censor board and got
U/A certificate without any major cuts. Sources says, censor board
officials enjoyed the movie and appreciated the film unit for making
such a good film.

Earlier distributors watched the movie and said, both Bala Krishna and
Manchu Manoj's performances stands the highlight of the film. They
also said, the second half is the highlight part of the movie with
good twists.


This film is made with huge budget and is considered as huge budget
film in Manoj's career till date. Deeksha Seth and Panchi Borra are
playing the leading ladies. Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna is also essaying a
key role in this film. This period drama is being directed by Sekhar
Raja and produced by Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna on Manchu Entertainment
banner. Bobo Sashi is composing music.

Financial News:Income tax return not required for salary above Rs. 5 lakh a year

Starting this financial year, salaried employees earning up to Rs. 5
lakh a year no longer need to file income tax returns, the Finance
Ministry said today.

The exemption from filing I-T returns is applicable only if 'the total
income of the employee does not exceed Rs. 5 lakh ... (and) the annual
interest earned from savings bank account is less than Rs. 10,000' for
assessment year 2012-13.

Filing I-T returns is, however, necessary to claim refunds.

The last date for filing tax returns is July 31.

There are about 85 lakh salaried persons in the country whose yearly
income, including earnings from other sources like bank deposits, does
not exceed Rs. 5 lakh.

The exemption will be permitted only if the assessee has received a
certificate of tax deduction in Form 16 from the employer. The
employees have to report income from interest on savings bank account
to the employer to become eligible for exemptions.

Indian Institute of Management (IIMK), Kozhikode (IIMK) to coordinate CAT 2012



The test comprises two sections that are separately timed

Once a section ends, aspirants can no longer go back to it

Director Shankar - Vikram film goes on floors

Shankar's fresh project I, with Vikram in the lead, is expected to hit the floors on Sunday (July 15). The film will get a kick start at a studio in Chennai.

It is said the first look of the movie will also be unveiled on Sunday. I, a romantic thriller, brings together Shankar, Vikram and producer Aascar V Ravichandran after the mega hit 'Anniyan'.

"The script work is over and writers Suba have done a great job. Shankar is happy with the writer duo since he was on the lookout for a right replacement after the demise of Sujatha," say sources.

Amy Jackson is the leading lady of I, which has music by A R Rahman. Amy plays an international model in this film. International technicians have been roped in for the movie, which has Suresh Gopi, Ramkumar and others in pivotal roles.

If his father can direct the film, Rajamouli said that he can provide the script and also assist in the screenplay. Previously, Rajamouli helped his father in the movie called 'Rajanna' in which Nagarjuna played lead role. However, the movie failed at box office but received appreciations from critics.

On the other hand, Rajamouli's cousin and Music director MM Keeravani stated that Rajamouli is interested in making a experimental movie rather than a predictable fare. Sources says that Rajamouli is in plans to to make a period film - a film set in the Kakatiyas era.

The prestigious 59th Filmfare Awards were were presented on the evening of 7 July 2012 at the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, Chennai.

Euro 2012: Golden Boot winner is Torres

Fernando Torres won the Golden Boot as Euro 2012 top-scorer thanks to a goal and an assist in the final eight minutes of Spain's 4-0 victory over Italy in Sunday's final.

Torres finished with three goals and an assist along with Germany striker Mario Gomez, but played less minutes than his rival, which is the tiebreak criteria of the ruling body UEFA.

The Chelsea striker Torres scored in the 84th minute of the final and fed Juan Mata in the 88th. His earlier two goals came in the other 4-0 win over Ireland in the group stage.

Torres succeeds injured teammate David Villa, who was top scorer at Euro 2008 with four goals.

Apart from Torres and Gomez, Italy's Mario Balotelli, Alan Dzagoev of Russia, Mario Mandzukic of Croatia and Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal also scored three goals at Euro 2012.
